What are the best AI visibility tools for small businesses?
Updated 20 October 2026

The best AI visibility tool for a small business is the one that shows whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity recommend you, and gets the fixes done when they don't. Many AI visibility tools are trackers built for marketing teams: they check a list of questions you write every day and chart the result. Start with a free check, see what AI tells your buyers, and pay only for the work you won't do yourself. Buy a tracker if a marketer will act on the charts every week. Pick a tool that does the fixes if that person is you.

From each tool's own pages, read 20 October 2026: HubSpot, Trendos, Otterly.AI, EZY.ai, Snuup, Peec AI.
These are the AI visibility tools a small business is most likely to run into, the free ones first. Each price is the entry plan on the tool's own pricing page, in the currency it showed us.
The table holds two kinds of tool. Trackers (Trendos, Otterly.AI and Peec AI) check a list of questions you write, every day, and chart how often AI names you. Fixers (EZY.ai and Snuup) look for what keeps AI from naming you and change it, or hand you the change. HubSpot's grader is a free score you run once.
Check it: open each pricing page before you buy. Prices change, and some sites show prices in your local currency.
A tracker or a fixer?
A tracker tells you how often AI mentions you, and whether that went up this week. It is built for someone whose job is that number: a marketer, an SEO team, an agency with clients. You write the questions, read the charts and decide what to change.
A fixer tells you why AI leaves you out and what to change. It suits an owner with a business to run and no marketer. You give up the daily charts a marketing team reports from.
So ask who will act on what the tool finds. If it's a marketer, buy a tracker. If it's you, between jobs, pick a tool that does the fixes or hands them to you ready.
HubSpot AI Search Grader: a free score, once
HubSpot's AI Search Grader is free and needs no account. You type your company name, location, what you sell and your industry. It scores how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini describe your brand out of 100, on sentiment, presence, recognition, share of voice and market position.
HubSpot says it works from what those AIs learned in training, so it measures how well AI knows your brand. It is a one-time check: tracking over time is a separate HubSpot product. Use it for a free first look.
Trendos: a free daily dashboard for marketers
Trendos is built for SEO teams, marketers and agencies. Its free plan tracks 20 questions you write, with up to 600 answers analysed a month and no card. Basic costs $39 a month, or $30 a month paid yearly, for 100 questions.
It checks every question every day on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok and Google AI Overviews. It charts your mentions, rank, sentiment and sources against competitors, and it spots competitor ads inside ChatGPT answers. It is a tracker: the changes are yours to make. The full comparison is in Snuup vs Trendos.
Otterly.AI: a low-cost tracker for solo marketers
Otterly.AI's Lite plan is $29 a month for 15 questions, aimed at solo marketers and small teams. It checks them daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode cost extra. Standard is $189 a month for 100 questions.
Lite includes three recommendations a week, a crawlability audit and a content audit, so it points at changes as well as charting them. The 7-day free trial needs no card. The full comparison is in Snuup vs Otterly.AI.
EZY.ai: changes published to your site
EZY.ai gives a free AI visibility score from your website address. Its paid plans then change your site: schema, meta titles and descriptions, llms.txt files and new answer pages, published through WordPress, Cloudflare or Lovable.
Growth is $49 a month for 25 tracked questions and four new answer pages a month. Scale is $99 a month. Both start with a 7-day trial. The full comparison is in Snuup vs EZY.ai.
Snuup: the answers, and the fixes done for you
This is our tool. You type your website, answer a few questions and give your email. Your free results show what AI knows about your business, who it may recommend instead of you, what's holding your website back and your first month of work. No card.
The plan is $29 a month, $72 every 3 months ($24 a month) or $228 a year ($19 a month), and all three include everything. We fix your website so AI and Google can read it, and write new blog posts for it. Each one waits for your OK. Every month we ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, so you see what changed. You can cancel anytime, and there's a 14-day money-back guarantee.
What Snuup won't give you is a daily chart of a question list you write. If your marketer needs that, a tracker is the better buy.
Peec AI: analytics for marketing teams
Peec AI is built for marketing teams and SEO agencies. Its Starter plan is €85 a month, the price its site showed us in Europe, for 50 questions on three AI models you pick, with unlimited users and daily checks.
It tracks your visibility, position and sentiment, and the sources AI cites, and it suggests what to do next. There is a free trial. Pick it when several people will work from the same reports.
Which one fits your business
Match the tool to the person who will act on what it finds.
- 1You want a free first look at how AI describes you: HubSpot's grader, EZY.ai's free score, or Snuup's free results.
- 2You have a marketer who will act on charts every week: Trendos if the budget is zero, Otterly.AI for a short question list, Peec AI for a team.
- 3You want new pages written and published to your site: EZY.ai.
- 4You want to know what AI tells your buyers, and want the fixes done: Snuup.
- 5You run an agency with many clients: Trendos, Otterly.AI, Peec AI and EZY.ai all sell plans for agencies.
See what AI says before you pay for anything
Every tool here starts from something you can do by hand in five minutes. Open ChatGPT in a private window, ask the question your buyers ask, and see who gets named. The step-by-step is in what ChatGPT says about your business.
If AI names you, a tracker can watch that hold. If it names someone else, the question is no longer which tool to buy. It is who will do the fixes.
